My Patient Voice was conceived by Jonna Jerome—founder, content creator, and strategist at Wordswerk. Through a combination of her professional expertise and personal experience, she found a unique opportunity to advocate for patients, ensuring they were not overpaying for medical care. By negotiating with insurance companies and healthcare providers, Jonna helps give a voice to those who feel unheard.
This endeavor requires fine tuned communication skills, human empathy, and knowledge of healthcare rights. The persistence of a bulldog, and infinite patience with canned hold music while waiting for a live representative doesn’t hurt. Having channeled this before, Jonna took on the task of designing, building, and writing all the content for My Patient Voice.
