My Patient Voice was founded by Jonna Jerome—founder, content creator, and strategist at Wordswerk. Through a combination of her professional expertise and personal experience, she discovered a unique opportunity to advocate for patients, ensuring they were not overpaying for medical care. By negotiating with insurance companies and healthcare providers, Jonna helps give a voice to those who feel unheard.
This endeavor requires communication and writing skills, the charm of a snake oil salesman, knowledge of healthcare rights, the persistence of a bulldog, and infinite patience with canned hold music while waiting for a live representative. Having channeled this before, Jonna took on the task of designing, building, and writing all the content for My Patient Voice.
